Project 2:Poster And Seminar On Contemporary Issues In Asian Architecture
Brief
In this assessment, we are required to critically analyze contemporary issues encountered during our site visits to Asian architectural sites. Employing a problem-based learning approach, we will develop an appraisal framework through weekly group discussions led by our tutors. This collaborative effort will enable us to identify key architectural challenges and propose practical solutions. Our findings will be showcased in two formats: a research poster and a seminar presentation. The poster will outline our observations, the issues identified, and our proposed solutions, accompanied by an abstract summarizing our research. The seminar presentation will expand on the poster's content, using slides to display images, findings, conclusions, and references, ensuring effective communication of our results. Working as a group of seven, we will collaborate to analyze issues, formulate solutions, and present our work. The project aims to achieve several outcomes, including a comprehensive understanding of contemporary architectural issues in Asia, the creation of actionable solutions, and the ability to communicate our research effectively through both visual and oral formats. This project is designed to enhance our critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, while also deepening our appreciation for the complexities involved in Asian architecture.
